| InThisSection is an international project founded in 2004 by Juschka Weigel and Miguel Muñoz. The process of choreographic work of the company is always characterised by the collaboration between artists with different trajectories and professional activities that work in relation to a concrete subject, being involved in the different situations that a production implicates. The phases of production and investigation are generally intermingled, questioning themselves mutually until the moment of the representation itself. This dynamics provokes the process of doubt, but, at the moment, it’s well thus. We take this instability to move to and to give the possibility of placing the process of creations (its reflections and representations) on a scene, like a self-critical practice. It is only dance that takes a critical point of view of itself. The methods of the choreographic work are not related directly to the form, but to the different parameters of tension. Alongn these lines, we do not make difference between the parameters of tension of speaking, or running, or the tension necessary to listen to a song. Finally, one does not talk about solely the body, but to the movements, and that means to consider the question: how to move? How to turn the pages of a book, how to watch outside, how to make a joke, how to represent all this. Sie kreierte Solo- und Companyarbeiten und choreographierte ebenso für Film und Multimediaproduktionen, arbeitete mit verschiedenen Choreographen in Deutschland, Belgien, Spanien, Österreich und Schweden. Die Solostücke 'Close up & personal', 'Im Imperfekt', 'It’s spooky to be alone' und einige andere sowie die abendfüllenden Stücke 'Grace under Pressure' und 'Life is too short to dance with an ugly man?' wurden erfolgreich in Europa und Südamerika aufgeführt. Zurück in Berlin choreographierte sie ihre erste abendfüllende Company Arbeit: 'It’s spooky’. Im Juni und Juli 2003 ging sie auf Spanientournee, wo sie mit sehr großem Erfolg unter anderem in den Städten Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Santigo de Compostella, Granda usw. tanzte. Im November 2003 bis Ende Februar 2004 führte sie in Südamerika auf und arbeitete als Dancer in Residenz in Santiago de Chile. Seit Anfang 2005 choreographiert sie zusammen mit Mikki Bleidner das Stück 'King Salomo,or how to fry small fishes' mit 5 Tänzern. Diese Produktion wurde Unterstützt von der Diputación de Sevilla und La La Espiral in Sevilla, wo die Premiere am 29.Juli im Rahmen des Festivals Italica war. Die Company bereitet eine große Produktion mit ca. 30 Performern vor, die es Mitte 2011 im Ber diese Arbeit schreiben wir bald mehr. ..................................................................................................................................................... miguel muñoz After different experiences as an actor and dancer, miguel muñoz gets into the field of technic by chance. He starts his collaborations with Cthe dance-theater company Cuerpo Transitorio, in 1997. Since then he takes part, as a light technician, light designer, technical director or direction assistant in many dance and theatre projects, co-working with spanish and european choreographers and directors. Since 2004 he is a founding member and co-director og InThisSection - juschkaWeigel. |
